Shift management is crucial for ensuring the smooth daily operation of the local center, combining productivity, empathy, and inclusion. The goal is to create and maintain a welcoming, safe, and efficient environment, providing a positive experience for all volunteers. Volunteer management requires effective human resource management, ensuring that activities such as collection, preparation, and distribution are carried out. It is essential to prioritize the integration of new volunteers and the renewal of teams, always observing safety conditions. It is necessary to be prepared for unforeseen events, such as visits from partners or media, while ensuring the fulfillment of the community inclusion mission. Periodic meetings among shift managers ensure process consistency. Communication with the Volunteer Management Team and the Operational Resources Team should be frequent, especially for shift reinforcement or logistical needs. Coordination with the National Core Executive Team is also possible if needed. Shifts occur Monday to Friday, from 6 PM to 9 PM (meal distribution) and from 9 PM to 11:30 PM (food collection and center organization). On Sundays, there is a shift from 8 PM to 11:30 PM for food collection and center organization.
