Since 1987, Associação Humana has promoted the protection of the environment through the sale of reused clothing in more than 20 stores in Portugal. Thanks to these revenues, Humana annually finances cooperation projects in more than ten countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

We are convinced that the presence and participation of international volunteers in these projects contributes significantly to our mission of fighting inequalities. That's why we're running a 10-month International Volunteer Program, which includes:

PROGRAM STRUCTURE:

• 3 months: Training on cooperation and development at the Lindersvold School in Denmark.

• 6 months: Volunteering in a Humana project in Malawi, Zambia or India.

• 1 month: Reflection and awareness in Denmark.

Scholarship Plan:

We offer a Scholarship Plan that covers up to 85% of the total cost of the program, worth €3,000. You can request more information through our email: portugal@humanavolunteers.org.
