Applications are open for the next Mucua mission, which will take place in São Tomé, between the 6th and 27th of September. The Múcua missions aim to promote the sustainable development of Roça Boa Entrada, improving the living conditions of those who live there, strengthening education, boosting the local economy and encouraging the participation of all to contribute to a fairer and more inclusive community.
Our areas of intervention focus on education and the environment. During the three weeks of the mission, volunteers will have the opportunity to collaborate in various activities, such as: ATL with children from 1st to 6th grade, including school support, socio-educational activities and environmental education; English and computer training aimed at young people and adults in the community; Environmental education sessions in primary schools on the island; Vocational guidance for young people; Community development, through the empowerment of local small businesses and the development of community educational institutions.
We have ambitious goals for the next school year, and to achieve them, we need proactive, committed volunteers willing to help us build a community with more opportunities. You can find all the information about the mission and the registration form here: https://linktr.ee/baobaong
