Institution's Mission

The REFOOD Movement is independent, sustainable, 100% voluntary, democratic, citizen-driven, and organized in local communities. It is dedicated to the recovery of food in good condition and the feeding of people in need through the inclusion of the local community. In Portugal, REFOOD is legally constituted as a non-profit association and also has the status of IPSS.<br<brThe REFOOD Movement operates locally in and for the community, working without remuneration, bearing only the costs and investments that serve its mission.
