Institution's Mission
The specific objectives of the Association are:<brThe implementation and development in Portugal of all the programs and actions of the "Foundation for Environmental Education" (FEE);<brThe creation, implementation and/or participation in international, national and regional projects in the fields of environmental education and for sustainable development, economic and social development;<brThe creation, development and implementation of awareness and education programs and projects aimed at changing behaviors and adopting good practices in the various areas of activity in which ABAAE is involved;<brThe establishment of structures for initiation to the environment, as well as the promotion and support of educational experiences within the scope of its object;<brThe organisation of meetings, conferences, colloquia, internships and other training activities in this field;<brConducting studies and research and disseminating the experiences collected through written publications or other audiovisual media;<brCooperation with related institutions, educational establishments, municipalities, companies and public and private entities, both nationally and internationally, fostering the exchange of materials, experiences and people;<brThe implementation of development cooperation and/or development education activities in developing countries, with special focus on the possibility of their implementation in the countries of the South and in Portuguese-speaking countries;<brThe organization and promotion of youth activities within the scope of its object.
