The mission of the Local Volunteer Bank (BLV) of Miranda do Douro is to promote and organize the practice of volunteering in the community, creating a connection between people who want to help and organizations that need volunteers.<brPromote volunteering as a form of active participation of citizens in the community, facilitating the meeting between volunteers and organizations, encouraging solidarity, citizenship and local social development.<brMain objectives:<brDisseminate and encourage the practice of volunteering.<brConnecting volunteers with institutions in need of support.<brMonitor and guide volunteers and host entities.<brContribute to the social and community development of the territory.<brTo promote values of solidarity, citizenship and social responsibility.<br
