At Caminhando we use approaches that stimulate children’s natural curiosity, valuing the legacy of fellow country pedagogue Irene Lisboa. For learning to be practical and dynamic, learning takes place through projects, based on children's individual curiosity to contact different areas of knowledge. Learning in Nature provides unique and valuable learning, contributing to the continuous appreciation of ecosystems and environmental sustainability. We encourage child-led learning paths, in co-construction with families and our local community. We believe that our roots are fundamental to the cohesion of communities, and that is why we integrate the appreciation of local knowledge and traditions into the educational project.
