The Eira Nova Rural Regeneration Association, recently constituted and dedicated to the sustainable revitalization of rural communities and landscapes, is seeking, for its Pilot Project for the Recovery of the Village of Marruge, in Serra do Caramulo, a person with experience in supporting the management of funding applications, to collaborate initially on a voluntary basis, with the possibility of evolving to paid collaboration.

The selected candidate will support the Association in submitting applications for concrete projects, including but not limited to:

• Recovery and rehabilitation of the built heritage (levadas, water dams, mills, granaries, dry stone walls, old primary school)

• Creation of walking and interpretive trails and biodiversity projects, including heritage interpretation plan, flora and fauna catalogue, digital routes.

• Study of fire prevention and sustainable landscape management in partnership with universities and local entities

• Program to monitor the environmental impacts of the development of the village

• Communication and digitalization (collaborative platform, multimedia content production, awareness campaigns)

These projects are subject to national and European funds, foundations, environmental, social or rural development programs

🔍 Profile sought

• Experience in applications for public and/or private funding

• Sensitivity to rural regeneration, sustainability and social impact projects

• Previous experience in associations or non-profit projects will be valued

• Support in the structuring and drafting of applications, in conjunction with external entities

• Collaboration in the preparation of administrative and project budgets

• Monitoring of reporting and obligations associated with funded projects
