Community support involves managing community life in relation to both the population and local entities with proactivity and openness to carry out actions and partnerships with the active forces in the community. The goal is to contribute to the inclusion and sustainability of the Local Core. To establish partnerships, it is necessary to research, identify, approach, invite, and secure agreements with all public and private institutions in the local community, including the business sector. It is important to be well-acquainted with and approach all entities in the local area, such as municipal councils, parish councils, parishes, hospitals, military institutions, universities, and businesses of various sizes. The aim is to include these entities in the work of Refood, ensuring that the approach is systematic, continuous, and always in line with the principles of the Refood Movement. This means presenting the work of Refood and inviting participation without requests, fundraising, pressure, or quid pro quo. Furthermore, opportunities should be seized to promote Refood and raise public awareness of Refood’s mission at community events or events organized by the Local Core. Management should be interconnected, involving coordination with managers of other areas to support their community approaches, and with the National Core Executive Teams of Partnership Management and Event Management, whenever necessary.
