We combined volunteering with the desire to acquire knowledge, and the Change Academy was born. A place where you can share your gifts, talents, and knowledge or simply be side by side, learning and building knowledge with our community of guests.

What moments do you remember when you think back to your school years? The people? The names that were part of your journey?

A very important part of the learning process is the people involved in it. That’s why many people still prefer in-person learning over online formats. We learn most profoundly through relationships with others!

At the Change Academy, we want learning to be shaped by relationships and for these connections to drive our community toward new opportunities.

You can come just once to get to know who we are and what we do, or you can commit to a regular schedule (once a week, every two weeks, or once a month).

AVAILABLE SCHEDULES:

Every morning from Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Every afternoon on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

WHO WE ARE

Serve the City is a volunteer network that seeks to mobilize people from all backgrounds and beliefs towards active, responsible, and engaged citizenship. We believe that relationships with others are a place of transformation—both for individuals and the community.

For this reason, we build bridges between people, institutions, and communities through volunteering actions, striving to make the city fairer, more dignified, fraternal, and supportive.

We reach out to socially vulnerable people, working in areas such as exclusion, homelessness, isolated elderly people, children and young people in high-risk situations, immigrants or refugees, and other existing needs within our community and city.
