Function Objective

Support the organization in the preparation and maintenance of donated computers, ensuring that they are ready for use by users, volunteers and technical teams.

Main responsibilities

Format and install operating systems on donated computers.

Configure basic software (browsers, productivity tools, antivirus, etc.).

Check the proper functioning of the hardware (keyboard, mouse, monitor, connections).

Provide timely support in urgent equipment preparation situations.

Provide recurring support whenever needed for maintenance or upgrading.

Volunteer profile

Basic or advanced computer skills (formatting, software installation, system configuration).

Ability to respond quickly in specific situations.

Sense of responsibility and taste for contributing to social causes through technology.

Availability

Immediate support in specific situations.

Availability for recurring collaboration, upon need. The hours placed are just one example. There may be weeks with more hours and weeks without any kind of need.
