Pedalar Sem Idade volunteers commit to giving two (2) hours a month to the mission of combating social isolation and unwanted loneliness aboard a trishaw. After a period of training, the volunteer takes elderly people and/or people with reduced mobility for a trishaw (adapted bicycle) ride for around 45 minutes (between 30 and 60 minutes) around their city or neighborhood. Passengers are people indicated by institutions, or are individuals who book directly with us or through their support network (family, neighbors, among others). Tours are always carried out on safe, pre-established routes, and pleasant for passengers.
