FACE-TO-FACE VOLUNTEERING
The Volunteer Fire Department of Linda-a-Pastora is in the phase of recruitment/admission of interns for the Volunteer Firefighter Career Entry Course.
We admit young people and adults between 17 and 45 years of age.
After admission, they are part of a recruit, which lasts about 8 months, with 2 to 3 weekly trainings, after work hours and on weekends, which includes modules of:
- Introduction to the Fire Service;
- Basic Technologies in the activity of Firefighter;
- Pre-hospital emergency;
- Urban and Industrial Fire Extinguishing;
- Rural Fire Extinguishing;
- Road Rescue.
Volunteer Firefighters enjoy rights and benefits in different areas, namely: education, through the reimbursement of tuition fees and registration fees, as well as reimbursement of 50% of expenses incurred in nurseries and nurseries; Benefits of exemption from payment within the scope of the National Health Service; Increase in the length of service for retirement purposes, among others.
